What is DeistPoet all about? Hopefully, it's about fun. Fun can be meaningful, and life-changing, empowering, enabling-- fun can be liberating and inspiring. Let's get back to thinking of our time on this planet in an extremely positive way, a creative way, an important and redeeming way.
Deism itself is very affirming. It states that yes, there is obviously a purpose and a design to all of this, and we want to acknowledge, revere, respect and pay homage to this creation in which we find ourselves an integral part.
Given this simple formula, do we really want to spend our entire life believing that somehow we were born into sin, or some galactic mistake that we humans are inherently apt to make many times in our lives? This makes no sense. It is a construct of those who wish to separate us from our birthright, which is, an inalienable right to joy and a sense of connectedness to something larger and grander than ourselves. This is the gift God meant for us to enjoy.

This site's focus is not really on defining what is Deism, or even in helping you figure out if you are or are not a Deist, or what Deists do for society and the world in general. Those things, of course, are extremely important, but are best handled by others found at sites listed in our Deist Alliance section to the right. An exceptional bulletin board reflecting modern/unified deistic ideals is the positivedeism.com site. This is a proverbial meeting ground for all members of the Deist Alliance.
